Fleischwerke E. Zimmermann benefits from IMP³rove Assessment

Innovation management is not "sausage" for us

Zimmermann is one of the most traditional manufacturers of sausage products in Germany and stands for quality, naturalness and enjoyment. As a former royal Bavarian court supplier to Prince Regent Luitpold, the company in the Swabian town of Thannhausen developed from a small butcher's shop into a medium-sized enterprise with about 250 employees. The product range focuses on regional specialties, such as Munich veal sausage or beer ball, national classics, such as various ham specialties or liver sausage, Swabian and Italian organic pasta, as well as organic soups and stews. The processing of high-quality raw materials, sustainable and modern manufacturing processes, as well as the strictest quality and safety standards are at Zimmermann expression of maximum transparency, lived consumer protection and not least attachment of intact nature, home and tradition.

The Fleischwerke E. Zimmermann have accepted the offer of Bayern Innovativ GmbH and carried out the IMP³rove Assessment. The management and executives have faced the "Innovation Management of Fleischwerke E. Zimmermann" and determined through detailed analysis, the status quo of the current innovation management. Strengths and weaknesses, processes and resources became visible for all participants. The To Do`s derived from this can be valuably used for future work in order to steer and secure the growth and success of Fleischwerke E. Zimmermann in the long term. We would like to thank Dr. Sonja Angloher-Reichelt, together with Dr. Peter Wunsch, for their excellent leadership and support. In this way, they made a significant contribution to the successful conclusion of the project. We can only recommend the implementation of such an assessment.
