1st funding call for charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in Bavaria 2.0

Eligible:

Eligible are natural and legal persons (including municipalities) with the exception of authorities or departments of federal and state.

Subject :

Funded is the acquisition and new construction of charging columns including attached cable, power electronics, grid connection, ground work, parking lot marking, parking sensors, lighting, weather protection, installation or commissioning. In this call, only so-called e-charging hubs or charging parks with at least 10 charging points are eligible.

Eligible expenses for the grid connection are only eligible as a supplement to a charging point subsidy.

Not eligible are, among other things, pure planning and consulting services, in-house services, operating costs, costs for the new construction of the parking lot itself or costs of affiliated companies.

Funding rate for charging points :

  • Normal charging ≥ 3.7 kW to ≤ 22 kW: 40%, max. 2,500 € per charging point
  • Fast charging > 22 kW to < 100 kW: 40%, max. 10.000 € per charging point
  • Fast charging ≥ 100 kW, 40 %, max. 20,000 € per charging point

Funding rate for grid connection:

Grid connection per location without distinction between low or medium voltage grid: 40 %, max. 10.000 €

Increase in the funding rate:

The percentage funding for charging points and grid connection can be increased to 50% if charging points are built in conjunction with at least one of the following criteria:

  • Building charging points in residential neighborhoods (existing neighborhoods); a residential environment beyond the home where people go about their daily lives
  • Intermodal offerings; especially charging points in close proximity to mobility stations or park&ride lots
  • Controlled, load-optimized charging
  • Authentication via a common debit and credit card system

Prerequisites :

  • Accessible charging pole
  • Operation of the charging pole with electricity from renewable energy
  • Minimum operating period of 6 years
  • Compliance with the requirements of the charging pole ordinance

Accessibility:

The full subsidy applies only in the case of uninterrupted public accessibility (24/7). Provided that the charging infrastructure is publicly accessible at least Monday to Saturday for 12 hours each (12/6), the maximum funding amounts are reduced to half. If accessibility is lower, no more funding can be granted.
