Hannover Messe 2025 once again provided a lively platform for discussing the future of industry - and the Mechatronics & Automation Cluster was right in the middle of it.

Our team used the trade fair days to talk to industry representatives, research institutions and decision-makers, primarily from the mechanical engineering sector, and to gather new ideas for mechatronic automation.
There was a palpable spirit of optimism at the exhibitors' stands: innovative drive and control solutions, networked sensor systems and AI-supported testing methods generated a great deal of interest. Intensive discussions on digitalization trends, sustainability and flexible manufacturing concepts took place in the aisles and forums.
The CMA team held numerous discussions, focusing in particular on topics such as adaptive control technologies, modular building block principles and collaborative robotics. Many visitors showed interest in joint projects and events - a clear signal that the demand for practical automation expertise continues to grow.
The trade fair impressively demonstrated the extent to which the industry is moving towards intelligently networked and sustainably optimized production processes. The CMA is taking this impetus back with it and is already planning to explore selected topics in greater depth in workshops and at events.
We would like to thank all our discussion partners for the inspiring encounters and look forward to putting the knowledge gained into practice together.
