New EUREKA grants
Calls for German SMEs in the fields of lightweight construction, circular economy and disaster resilience

The European network EUREKA is offering German SMEs and mid-caps several opportunities for funding international R&D projects in 2025.
Three current calls are aimed at companies with innovation projects in the fields of lightweighting, circular economy and disaster resilience.
1. EUREKA Lightweighting Call 2025
Submission deadline: 15 May to 23 October 2025
Objective: Development of efficient lightweight construction solutions
Funding is available for projects aimed at increasing resource efficiency, product performance or process optimization. Digitally supported technologies such as simulations or digital twins are particularly welcome.
2. EUREKA Circular Value Creation Call 2025
Submission deadline: June 12 to September 30, 2025
Goal: Innovations for circular value creation
The focus is on new strategies for product design, materials, business models or cross-sector collaboration - with the aim of reuse and recyclability.
3. EUREKA Disaster Resilience Call 2025
Submission deadline: June 10 to October 31, 2025
Goal: Strengthening disaster preparedness and response
Projects on resilient construction, digital warning systems, emergency communication, health technologies and post-crisis waste management are eligible for funding.
Conditions of participation (for all three calls):
- Project partnership with at least two organizations from participating countries
- Maximum project duration: 36 months
- Additional national funding application required (e.g. via ZIM in Germany)
