Meeting of the RTIT project partners in Montenegro
Focus on action plan and pilot actions
25.11.2024
The last physical meeting this year was dedicated to planning the activities for 2025. Next year, the consortium will start with the action plan for the topics Advanced Materials, Sustainable Materials and Biobased Materials in the Danube region and start the pilot actions.
The RTIT project can already look back on one year of successful project work. Following the policy mapping and the establishment of the three transnational thematic groups Advanced Materials, Sustainable Materials and Biobased Materials, the activities for 2025 are already being eagerly planned.
In the coming year, the consortium will draw up the Action Plan with proposals for the further implementation of the material topics in the Danube region. Concrete measures will then be implemented in pilot actions in the region. The plan is to invite companies to joint workshops with various innovation management tools in order to get the strategy off the ground together.
Initial preparations for this took place at the project meeting in Nikšić, Montenegro. Topics discussed included the EU's industrial strategy, future scenarios for the further development of the Danube region within the EU and globally, and the selection of innovation transfer tools for the workshops.
As Workpackage Leader, Dr. Barbara Giehmann presented the next steps for strategic implementation for the New Materials Cluster of Bayern Innovativ. Kathrin Singer from Bayern Innovativ's Technology and Innovation Management (TIM) team provided important impetus for the further development of technology transfer.
The project meeting was hosted by lead partner IPC Tehnopolis in Nikšić, Montenegro. We would like to thank them very much for their hospitality and the excellent organization of the meeting!
