The German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK) has published a funding call as part of the funding program "Development of Digital Technologies" to increase Germany's competitiveness for green technologies and green services. The submission deadline for the funding call is October 21, 2022, 12:00 p.m.
On the basis of the funding call, projects are to be funded that deal with the development, testing and application of platforms, tools, methods, business models, usage models or standards for the economic development and integration of digital technologies for sustainability. The funding call addresses three topics in particular:
- Sustainability through digital technologies, e.g., digital tools for efficient design of circular value chains and green digital twins
- Sustainability of digital technologies, e.g.. efficient concepts for training AI models and optimized resource management of software and hardware
- Measuring sustainability with digital technologies, e.g. analysis tools for measuring emissions and digital product passports
Funding of up to €75 million is available for the funding call, subject to available budget. Application and technology projects with a volume of approximately three to ten million euros funding budget and approximately three to seven partners are funded. Outlines can be submitted to the DLR Project Management Agency until October 21, 2022, 12:00 p.m.
To support the formation of consortia, the BMWK is expected to hold a networking event on 21.09.2022. We as Bayern Innovativ are also happy to support you in finding suitable partners for your project proposal.
