The focus of the funding module "Materials for Process Efficiency" is exclusively on the application-oriented development of innovative catalyst and membrane materials to realize energy- and CO2-containing processes more efficiently and sustainably or to replace them with more sustainable solutions.
By exploiting efficiency potentials, industrial processes at all stages of the value chain are to be managed with the same or higher performance while using fewer resources, and undesirable by-products are to be minimized or returned to the cycle.
