The Biotech Cluster/SME Mission will be organized within the "BioJapan" Expo in Yokohama from October 10-13, 2023 by the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation. During this three-day expo, B2B meetings will be held to find Japanese partners. Since 2013, the EU-Japan Center has been organizing cluster/SME entrepreneurship tours in the fields of pharmaceuticals, biotechnologies and life sciences.
The program targets SMEs and the clusters from the EU or COSME partner countries operating in the following fields:
- Drug development and drug development support
- Regenerative medicine
- Therapeutic agents, diagnostics
- AI and IoT technologies related to 1.-3
- Digital medicine (AI-assisted drug development, drug-device combinations, etc.)
- Digital therapeutics (non-pharmacological therapy systems, app-device combinations)
