Call for funding Resource Efficiency and Circular Economy

The German government is funding projects in the fields of "Resource efficiency in the context of the energy transition" and "Material and resource efficiency in the sectors of industry, commerce, trade and services" as part of the 7th Energy Research Program.

In the field of "Resource efficiency in the context of the energy transition", funding is provided, among other things, for projects to replace energy-intensive or critical raw materials and materials. Projects with the aim of developing business models and products in line with the circular economy are also funded. The projects are intended to identify resource potentials and make them accessible.

The area "Material and Resource Efficiency" promotes projects for the development of individual technologies. The funding call addresses the development of more energy-efficient processes as well as the reduced use of energy-intensive raw materials.
