Call for funding in the field of the battery value chain

Industrial innovation projects - "Important Projects of Common European Interest" (IPCEI) are of fundamental importance with regard to European battery ecosystems. Therefore, in order to strengthen the European battery ecosystem, the German government aims to expand the existing second battery IPCEI ("European Battery Innovation - EuBatIn"). Budget funds of around 1 billion euros are to be made available nationwide.
The funding call of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK) is aimed at innovative projects in the battery value chain. Project outlines can be submitted to the project management organization VDI/VDE Innovation + Technik GmbH until February 6, 2023.
