Adaptation of the funding guidelines for battery research programs

There have been minor changes to the funding guidelines in several BMBF announcements, information on which is provided here.

1. In the funding program "Research and development of battery technologies for technologically sovereign, competitive and sustainable battery value chains", the deadline for the submission of project outlines has been updated. The following deadlines apply:
   
   October 31, 2023
   March 31, 2025
   September 30, 2025
   March 31, 2026
   
   The deadlines for submission on March 28, 2024 and September 30, 2024 no longer apply!

2. The following changes have been made to the "Clusters Go Industry" funding guideline:
   
   • If required, additional projects and project partners can be included in existing battery competence clusters at any time on request. The implementation of "crossover projects" is also possible.
   • Formal funding applications can be submitted via the electronic application system "easy-Online". Submission in paper form is also possible. No project outlines can be submitted in calendar year 2024.

3. In the guideline for funding the topic "BattFutur - Junior Research Groups Battery Research" as part of the umbrella concept "Battery Research", the deadlines for submitting the project outline have also been updated. The following deadlines apply:
   
   November 15, 2023
   November 15, 2025
   
   Submission by November 15, 2024 is no longer possible!
