Climbing the high innovation peak in four stages

What does the future of technology transfer look like and what does it have to do with mountain climbing? In a scenario study, our project team developed four possible scenarios of technology transfer in 2030. These were provided with metaphors of mountaineering - since both require a suitable route, the right equipment as well as strength and endurance.

Whether it's mountaineering or technology transfer , there's an enormous amount of effort behind both, and it's fraught with obstacles. At the same time, however, great opportunities exist. To master the efforts for new innovations, you need stamina, a secure route planning to success, safety ropes for difficult moments, and, in addition to the right paths, enough support and incentive in the team. Together we climb the mountain top!
