ZD.B topic platform Digitalization in the energy sector

The Energy thematic platform deals with the design of digitization in the energy transition and the transformation of energy systems, including in the management of grid bottlenecks and the efficient expansion of grids, the regional use of flexibility, in energy efficiency, sector coupling, the integration of renewable energies and the mobility and heat transition.

The objectives of the activities of the thematic platform are to impart competence in key digital technologies (including blockchain, smart data, networked neighborhoods), to shape the regional energy future, to strengthen digital innovations in the energy sector and to create sustainable framework conditions and networked ecosystems across industries and sectors, so that the digital energy transition can be made a success for Bavaria.
