At the invitation of the Greek government, Germany will participate in the Thessaloniki International Fair, which will take place from September 7-15, 2024 in Thessaloniki, Greece, as Guest of Honour in 2024.
The participation will be accompanied at a very high political level on both the Greek and the German side. The host country participation coincides with the 100th anniversary of the German-Greek AHK.
Themed days at the T.I.F.
The following themed days are planned, including specialist presentations, symposia and B2B meetings:
- 09.09.2024 Logistics, transport, traffic, maritime industry
- 10.09.2024 Healthcare industry, medicine and medical technology, pharmacy
- 11.09.2024 Renewable energies, energy efficiency, environmental technology, sustainability
- 12.09.2024 Education and research
- 13.09.2024 Digitalization, digital economy, data economy, start-ups
The individual theme days are organized together with the AHK and receive high-level political support from both Greece and Germany. With an extensive accompanying program of company visits, B2B meetings in the host country hall and company presentations as well as symposia on the host country stage, they offer numerous opportunities to establish contacts that go far beyond pure trade fair participation.
For companies from Germany, there is also the possibility of a shortened trade fair presence in combination with participation in the special program of the theme days.
