With the accession of Projekt 29 GmbH, Energieagentur Regensburg breaks the 200 mark and thus forms a large and growing network for energy and climate protection in the region.

An association lives from its members. The more active the members are in the association, the more lively it is. Since it was founded as an association 15 years ago, the Regensburg Energy Agency has been able to rely on very loyal and committed members. At the members' meeting on June 12, 2024, Ludwig Friedl, Managing Director of the Energy Agency, together with the chairmen, board members and

members, welcomed Projekt 29 GmbH as the 200th member.

Since 1996, Project 29 has been supporting companies in the secure handling of data and information. Project 29 plays a pioneering role in the field of sustainability because it voluntarily undergoes ecological certification and continuously reduces its emissions. There are also big plans for the future with the aim of achieving the Economy for the Common Good certification. For the Energy Agency's network, the company's membership represents great added value and new impetus.

In line with the guiding principle "Ideas for the future - plans for tomorrow!", the interdisciplinary team at the Regensburg Energy Agency works with its network on sustainable solutions in the field of energy and climate protection. The aim is to promote awareness in society for energy saving and the use of renewable energies as well as a change towards climate-friendly ways of living and working.

Supported by the city and district of Regensburg and the district of Kelheim, the Regensburg Energy Agency is a central and independent point of contact for citizens, local authorities and companies on issues relating to energy and climate protection. With its offers and services, the agency supports the regional energy transition and the path to climate neutrality. The fields of action range from "education & consulting" to "conception & management" and "information & network". In addition to municipalities,

associations and associations, the association's members include companies and institutions from business and science. These are made up of around 140 companies/organizations and around 60 municipalities.
