The renewable energy system provider Einskommafünfgrad is taking over the heat pump specialist Pfeuffer. The group intends to expand in Bavarian.
The energy supplier Einskommafünfgrad is expanding in Bavaria. By integrating the heat pump specialist Pfeuffer Haustechnik, the group aims to improve its regional coverage and strengthen its portfolio.
Einskommafünfgrad is a provider of CO2-neutral power generation, heat and mobility from Hamburg. Pfeuffer Haustechnik was founded in 2005 by Christian Pfeuffer (54). The heating and air conditioning technician from the Mainfranken region has many years of experience with heat pumps and solar systems.
As part of Einskommafünfgrad, Pfeuffer Haustechnik will in future offer individualized energy systems consisting of solar systems, electricity storage and heat pumps in combination with the Internet of Things (IoT) platform "Heartbeat". According to the company, Heartbeat connects connected systems directly to the electricity exchange and thus reduces electricity costs by up to 90 percent in the long term.
Pfeuffer Haustechnik employs almost 30 people, manages the entire process from planning to installation and has installed more than 1,000 systems.000 systems installed.
Philipp Schröder, co-founder and CEO of Einskommafünfgrad, explained: "Despite the current challenges in the market, we are consistently continuing our growth course in the heat pump sector." The heat pump association BDH recently reported a 52% slump in orders for appliances sold in the first quarter of 2024. Einskommafünfgrad wants to counteract the trend and "increase heat pump sales tenfold", announced Schröder.
Christian Pfeuffer cited consistent digitalization of all processes as a goal, which would be made possible by access to the Heartbeat platform. "Together with Einskommafünfgrad, we want to make all households in the Mainfranken region an offer to switch to a CO2-neutral life with the lowest energy costs ever," he said.
According to its own information, Einskommafünfgrad currently operates 75 locations with around 2.000 employees in Germany, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Spain, the Netherlands and Australia.
The "Heartbeat" energy software platform creates a virtual power plant that connects customers' photovoltaics, electricity storage systems, heat pumps and charging stations with the energy market and aims to significantly increase the profitability of customer systems. The aim of Einskommafünfgrad is to develop a market-leading hardware and software platform across Europe that is capable of converting 500,000 buildings per year to climate-neutral power generation, heat and mobility.
