The Chairman of the Management Board of Städtische Werke Nürnberg GmbH and Chairman of the Management Board of N-ERGIE Aktiengesellschaft and VAG Verkehrs-Aktiengesellschaft, Josef Hasler, resigned from his positions in the companies for personal reasons on September 20, 2022.

The companies note this with great regret, but respect the wish of the long-time Chairman of the Management Board. "Josef Hasler has in his eleven years as Chairman of the Board of N-ERGIE and before that in his time as a member of the Board of the utility company significantly advanced the realignment of the Nuremberg energy supply company. For VAG, too, Josef Hasler set the right course for local public transport, first as a member of the Executive Board and finally as Chairman of the Executive Board. VAG is ideally prepared for the urgently needed turnaround in transport. We are therefore very sorry to lose Mr. Hasler, an outstanding energy expert and extremely successful CEO. We thank him for his great commitment to the companies, especially to N-ERGIE in difficult times on the energy market," says the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of N-ERGIE Aktiengesellschaft and StWN GmbH, Nuremberg's Lord Mayor Marcus König. "I wish Mr. Hasler all the best for his future path in life."

Josef Hasler says of his departure, "I would like to express my sincere thanks to the people involved for the constructive discussions. As much as I enjoyed my time at N-ERGIE Aktiengesellschaft, VAG Verkehrs-Aktiengesellschaft and Städtische Werke Nürnberg GmbH, it is now time to move on to other things. I would like to thank all my colleagues for the always good cooperation and wish the companies continued success for the future."
