A chart is worth a thousand words: In a recent infographic, we regularly highlight figures from the energy industry.


The installed heat capacity of air-to-water heat pumps has increased consistently within the EU since 2000, according to Eurostat data. In particular, between the years 2016 and 2017, capacities shot up considerably. In 2021, the installed heat capacity of said heat pumps was around 271 million MW.

Number of employees in the German heat pump industry



According to figures from the German Heat Pump Association, around 19,500 people were employed in the German heat pump sector in 2022. Compared to the previous year, this was around 6,500 less.
