With the Zukunft Bau research funding, the Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Building (BMWSB) supports research and development projects that generate findings, strategies, concepts, procedures, techniques and materials for a forward-looking and sustainable development of construction, architecture and the building and housing industry.
The research funding supports knowledge growth and knowledge transfer in the field of technical, building culture and organizational innovations, as well as the implementation of new findings in planning and building practice.

Climate-neutral and climate-adapted buildings
Building and refurbishing according to the circular principle, reuse and conservation of resources
