The Bürger-Energie ProRegion e.G.. accompanies on request communities in the implementation of PV open space projects and large roof area projects.

The offer applies to the Bavarian counties of Hof, Bayreuth, Kulmbach, Wunsiedel, Kronach and beyond.  The projects are fully planned and implemented, starting from land acquisition to the construction of PV and financing. All projects are implemented with local citizens. Citizens can participate in the financing and are included in the Bürger-Energie ProRegion.

What does Bürger-Energie ProRegion eG stand for?

- The cooperative offers citizens, municipalities and regional companies a common platform.
- Renewable energy production with regional added value, while reducing dependence on fossil fuels.
- The team works on a voluntary basis, this ensures that a large part of the money flows into specific projects in the region.

How can these goals be achieved?

- Construction and operation of photovoltaic systems
- construction and participation in wind power
- Other renewable energy plants such as. Hydropower or biomass Geothermal and various storage technologies
- marketing of the gained energy
- Services related to renewable energy and energy efficiency such as energy consulting
