The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) wants to promote low-threshold access to quantum computers for industrial users.
Especially for potential users of quantum computing outside academic institutions, there is still a lack of low-threshold access to quantum computer computing time. The aim of the funding measure is therefore to create low-threshold opportunities for entrepreneurial or industrial users of quantum computing and to give them the opportunity to better assess the resources required for potential use cases for quantum algorithms or quantum-inspired algorithms.
