Artificial intelligence, data, robotics - the EU Commission has published new calls for proposals with a total volume of over 290 million euros for research in these and other digital areas.
- The EU Commission is providing 85 million euros for research into advanced data and computer technologies in the context of the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT).
- 60 million euros are to flow specifically into research into AI and data solutions in order to support the objectives of the European Green Deal.
- 76 million euros will be invested in areas such as AI, data and robotics as well as photonic technologies (technologies that use light as a tool).
- 70 million euros are available for projects such as the development of "cloud to edge" server technology, quantum sensor technology and the integration of two-dimensional materials in semiconductor technology.
The deadline for submitting applications is March 19, 2024.
