Taiwanese chip company TSMC comes to Germany

The Taiwanese chip company TSMC decides a billion-dollar settlement in Dresden. In the process, the company's board of directors spoke out in favor of the Dresden site at a "board meeting" on Tuesday.

The construction of the new plant will receive five billion euros in funding from the German government, which will be financed through the Climate and Transformation Fund (KTF).
