The research project Smart3DRegio aims at the systems engineering development of a virtual 3D region model, which is based on Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) from the field of Systems Engineering. Furthermore, the interdisciplinary coupling and application of two areas, namely Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and 3D region models, will be investigated and researched in the following research project. Here, the methods, systems and tools with systems modeling language (SysML) are available.
Smart visualization of 3D region models.
The innovative idea is to develop generic methods and processes, based on an MBSE approach, which will enable a highly automated use and construction of 3D region models. For this purpose, a platform called "Smart3DRegio" will be developed, which allows static, as well as dynamic slow and fast data usage and considers the configuration for different applications (use-cases). Another aspect is the development of highly automated methods and system architecture solutions based on "Smart3DRegio" with respect to different data and data formats, for performing simulation and visualization in the field of smart mobility and system engineering mapping of 3D region models.
Focus on the data used
The focus of this research is on the consideration of the data or processes and methods to be used, as well as the systems and end-to-end processes. In this context, a systems engineering coupling and consideration enables a holistic implementation of the required information, which is urgently needed for complex mapping of the 3D region models. This approach helps to understand the complexity of the different aspects for the mapping of a 3D region model and to map them methodically clean. Furthermore, with the help of the MBSE approach, the conversion chains of the different data (up to the mobile application) will be represented and realized in an automated way.
