China strategy of the German government

For the first time, the German government has adopted a cross-departmental and comprehensive China strategy. Here, the central goal is to provide a structure and direction for the complex relations with China, while adhering to the objectives of the EU.

When it comes to prosperity and security, key technologies such as semiconductors, artificial intelligence and green technologies are becoming increasingly important. International cooperation in the field of technological innovation is intensified and thus to achieve a common resilience in strategically important high-tech areas.
