Call for Proposals “High-speed networks for hyperconnectivity”

The German Federal Ministry of Education and Research has published a call for funding to research innovative concepts for high-speed optical networks and demonstrate their performance in terms of key performance indicators such as achievable data rate, energy efficiency, security or robustness. Topics such as standardization and preparatory work for certification will also be considered, if appropriate.

The submission deadlines are:

• High-performance, sustainable, resilient, and intelligent optical networks: May 15, 2023
• Space division multiplexing: November 1, 2023
