BDBOS launches KoPa_45 funding program

The Federal Agency for Digital Radio of Security Authorities and Organizations (BDBOS) is setting up a program as part of the newly launched KoPa_45 project to promote innovation for broadband digital radio. On the one hand, this is intended to make the advantages of the 5G and, in the future, 6G mobile radio standards usable for mission-critical communications networks. On the other hand, the potential uses of edge and cloud technologies in mission-critical areas are to be researched. The funding program is expected to start in Q3 2022 and is scheduled to run until the end of 2024.
