Advancing continuing education in Bavaria

SMEs in particular often do not have the time and human resources to pursue the further training of their employees in a targeted manner. However, further developing the skills and abilities of the workforce is an important factor in remaining marketable and competitive.

Title Continuing Education Working World 4.0

This includes both technical knowledge and the further development of "soft" personal aspects. In the context of securing skilled labor, promoting employees sends an important signal to the company, but also to the outside world: the needs of employees are important to the company, and employee loyalty and satisfaction are actively shaped.

To support SMEs in the further development of their personnel, further training initiators (WBI) are in operation throughout Bavaria. These advise both enterprises and persons employed and their representations (work/staff council) to vocational training further possibilities, give Tipps to potential conveyances, investigate after individually suitable training further and accompany if necessary enterprises and/or persons employed during the qualification. The WBIs place a special focus on continuing education with the topic of digitization.

The WBIs are supported by the coordination office of the continuing education initiators (WBI-K), which is located at the Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training (f-bb).

The project is part of the " Pact for Continuing Vocational Education 4.0 ", a joint initiative of the Bavarian state government. It is sponsored by the Bavarian State Ministry for Family Affairs, Labor and Social Affairs.
