The "Europa Nostra Awards" will be awarded annually to up to 30 special projects for the preservation and enhancement of cultural heritage in Europe. Of these, up to five winners receive a Grand Prix, which is endowed with 10,000 euros. One other winner will also receive the Europa Nostra public prize, worth 10,000 euros. This is awarded in an online vote. Europa Nostra is the European voice of civil society working for cultural heritage.
The "Europa Nostra Awards" are presented in five categories, including
- Conservation of Historic Monuments,
- Civic Engagement
- Excellence by Individuals,
- Excellence by Groups or
- Excellence by Organizations.
Projects submitted must have been completed for public access between 2020 and 2023. Applications can be submitted until October 13.
