Topic dossier: Artificial intelligence in the cultural and creative industries

In its new thematic dossier, the Federal Competence Center for Cultural and Creative Industries looks at the potential applications, opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence (AI) in the cultural and creative industries (CCIs). It looks at the possibilities of interaction between AI and the CCI as well as emerging fears, for example regarding changes to job profiles and business models. The dossier focuses on generative AI - such as that used in the chatbot ChatGPT or image generation applications such as Midjourney.

The dossier makes it clear that AI is a promising technology for the NPPs, but one that requires sensitive handling and sustainable regulations.
