The department focuses on electrical energy storage systems, with a focus on modular multilevel battery systems. While our focus is on lithium-ion batteries, we also explore classic systems in this field. Furthermore, the university is committed to developing future-oriented systems such as medical modular multilevel magnetic stimulators and propulsion concepts for electric aviation.
