ExoMatter GmbH

Our platform enables our customers to 

1. quickly find suitable materials for specific applications; 
2. make material data comparable and find other relevant sources such as publications and patents; 
3. analyze sustainability criteria such as carbon footprint and material availability; and 
4. share and discuss material data as a team.

The platform is based on material data from a variety of scientific sources, which are processed by ExoMatter with the help of AI. It provides access to a wide range of physical, chemical and engineering properties as well as key figures on sustainability and any costs that serve as search criteria.

ExoMatter was founded in 2022 as a spin-off from the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and has participated in UnternehmerTUM programs such as Xpreneurs and Techfounders. German companies, including Bosch Siemens Hausgeräte (BSH), Infineon and Airbus, are already using ExoMatter for their basic research. This enables them to focus on the most promising material candidates and save resources.
