Healthtech Innovation Insight: ePA for all - functions, benefits and framework conditions

The "ePA for all" insight provides a comprehensive overview of the introduction of the electronic patient record. It highlights not only the fundamental background and motivation for implementing the electronic patient record, but also the various functions and benefits that it brings for both insured persons and service providers.
The electronic patient record enables insured persons to store their health data centrally or have it stored and access it at any time. This not only promotes the availability of data relevant to treatment, but also encourages patients to take responsibility for their own health. For service providers, such as doctors and therapists, the ePA offers the opportunity to access relevant information quickly and easily, which can significantly improve the quality of medical care.

Another key point is patient sovereignty, which allows policyholders to decide for themselves what information they want to share and with whom.
