Materials for large-area processable Electronics

Source: Fraunhofer Institut

The large-area processable electronics form the basis for industrial components such as RFID tags, flexible displays, solar cells or printed energy storages. The vision of a broad application of these polymeric electronic systems is driven by the possibility of producing and handling processable organic and inorganic materials with cost-efficient processes in large areas.

There is a high demand in this complicated environment for cross-industry and process-oriented cooperation of individual key personnel. In this context the cluster work has a hand in the effective vertical and horizontal networking and helps to develop new value-added potential.
